What is a Guardian Family Home?

Sandyhill Labradoodles is a small breeder and we do not use kennels for our dogs.  They live in our home as cherished pets. In order to give them the love and attention that they deserve, we occasionally are looking for families who might be interested in becoming a Guardian Family.  These families are selected VERY carefully. 

A Guardian Family Home is a place where one of our puppies can live as a cherished family pet.  The puppy will live with you and come to us only when required testing needs to be done, when it is time to be bred or when she is ready to have her puppies (for approx. 7 weeks).  Once the breeding contract has been fulfilled (usually 2- 4 breedings, breeders choice), she will be spayed, transfer of ownership from Sandyhill Labradoodles to the Guardian Family will occur and she will continue to live with her guardian family throughout the rest of her days as their beloved family pet. 

Please Note:  The $2500.00 pet price does apply to families wishing to be a guardian home to one of our dogs.
A small fee is paid back to the guardian family after each litter has been whelped
and the dog has been returned back to them.
